Kelvis, an all-state offensive and defensive lineman who anchored his dad’s final state championship team in 1995, became Mae Jemison High School’s first head coach when Huntsville opened the new school in 2016. He guided the Jaguars to 6-5 record last season and to a red-hot 5-0 start this season. After high school, he played at Alabama from 1996-2000.
